Porteous Fastener Company opened its doors in 1966 as a  master distributor on nuts, bolts, washers and other hardware. In 1993, after many years using a software system the company developed in-house to handle such functions as inventory, billing, and purchasing, they began to look for better ways to improve efficiency and enhance operations. After reviewing several systems and companies, they chose Circa to integrate and maintain their system, giving employees more flexibility and capability.
