Porteous Fastener Company opened its doors in 1966 as a  master distributor on nuts, bolts, washers and other hardware. In 1993, after many years using a software system the company developed in-house to handle such functions as inventory, billing, and purchasing, they began to look for better ways to improve efficiency and enhance operations.
