Demand Solutions Forecast Management (DS) provides the forecasting engine and database warehouse for the Demand Solutions Suite of integrated supply chain products. The backbone of a good demand management system is its forecasting. Our  system uses 20 easy-to-understand formulas which simulate up to 12 periods of historical demand. The number of simulations depends on the amount of available history. The formula which best describes each item's demand pattern (lowest  simulation error) is selected to forecast that item. No single formula is arbitrarily forced on the database.

Once the system generates forecasts, a variety of tools are used to make adjustments, create aggregate records, add notes to track assumptions, and  finally to create production and/or purchase plans to meet your inventory and  customer service objectives.

These plans and assumptions can be reviewed and communicated in units, cost, selling price, profit, foreign currency, and equivalent units. There are many  analytical exception reports and performance evaluations to maximize system results.
